A sad time in my family, the loss of such a bright part of our lives. Rest in peace uncle B.

I saw Russell Peters at the Orpheum with Raman, Kulv and Rose. It was really funny though maybe not as funny as his two DVDs. My only real criticism would be that he went a little long with his penis bit(yes that sounds bad). It was also nice to have the Indian Jesus in the crowd.

Went to see the Police at GM Place on May 30th. It was the second of 3 shows in Vancouver. In the 80s I was a huge fan but never got to see them. Our seats were way up at the top, i'm glad they had big clear screens for a closer look. They started off a bit out of sync but got better as it went on. Stewart called it a 'disaster gig' in his website forums. Some parts were definitely muddled but overall it was a great show I thought. I'm glad I finally got to see them live.

Cell Phone Pic Collage (Thanks Rose)

Went to see Supernova at The Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Went with a group, all Rockstar addicts. To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with Supernova's album, wasn't edgy enough for me, but we bought our tickets well before it was released. However I did like some of the tracks and they put on quite a production. The first opening act was Magni and Dilana. We didn't see any of Magni because we got stuck in the freakin elevator! Luckily Rose wasn't in there with us and Alda called her on her cell to get help. We saw just a bit of Dilana, oh well. Next up was Toby Rand with his band, Juke Kartel. They were loud and high energy, fun to watch. Then, Dave Navarro's band The Panic Channel took the stage. Their bass player didn't make it over the border because he apparently has a record as a jewel thief, so they played an acoustic set, Steve Isaacs sang great. I particularily liked their rendition of ACDC's Highway to Hell. Steve Isaacs milled through the crowd a little after his performance, Rose and Raman talked to him. And finally came Supernova, they had a stage full of lights and big computer screens, pretty cool setup. At one point Tommy Lee grabbed a girl's cell phone so he could give her a bottle of Jagermeister to pass around. Before he gave it back to her he snapped a pic down his pants with it, I thought that was funny. Lukas Rossi fit the band well and performed well too. Overall a really fun night.

Went to see Evanescence at the Pacific Coliseum with Kulvir and Sean. It was their last canadian date on the current tour. Amy Lee sang flawlessly and it was an awesome rock show.

Went to see Incubus at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre with Kulvir and Sue. As usual they played really well, great vocals and the band is really tight. I really like their new songs.
